The premium notebook PCs "Dell 14/16 Premium," inheriting the DNA of XPS, are now launched featuring Core Ultra 200H processors and will be released progressively.
Dell Technologies announced on June 26 new premium notebook PCs: the "Dell 14 Premium (DA14250)" and "Dell 16 Premium (DA16250)." On the same day, certain configurations of the Dell 14 Premium became available, while orders for certain configurations of the Dell 16 Premium started. The direct sales price for the base configuration is 299,900 yen for the Dell 14 Premium (DA14250) and 443,000 yen for the Dell 16 Premium (DA16250).
●Dell 14 Premium (DA14250)/Dell 16 Premium (DA16250) Overview
Dell 14 Premium is the successor to the "XPS 14," and Dell 16 Premium is the successor to the "XPS 16" premium notebook PCs. The newly introduced DA14250/DA16250 models feature performance-oriented designs equipped with Core Ultra 200H processors (development code name: Arrow Lake-H).
In addition to the Core Ultra 7 255H and Core Ultra 7 265H CPUs, the DA16250 also offers the option of selecting the Core Ultra 9 285H (all models feature a configuration of 8 P-cores and 8 E-cores).
The external GPU is manufactured by NVIDIA; the DA14250 is a customizable option, while the DA16250 comes as standard (※1). The available external GPUs are as follows.

Dell 16 Premium (DA16250)

(Note 1) Overseas models also include configurations without an external GPU.
The memory is LPDDR5X with a capacity of 32GB or 64GB (access speed varies depending on configuration). Storage consists of a PCIe 4.0 SSD, available in capacities of 512GB (DA14250 only), 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB (2TB and 4TB modules support self-encryption).
The display for the DA14250 is 14 inches and the DA16250 is 16.3 inches (aspect ratio 16:10), and the selectable panels are as follows.

The webcam supports full HD (1920×1080 pixel) recording and facial recognition. The power button integrates a fingerprint sensor.
The ports include two Thunderbolt 4 (USB4 Version 1.0) ports on the left side, and on the right side a microSD memory card slot (supporting UHS-II), one Thunderbolt 4 port, and an earphone/microphone jack (※2). Both Thunderbolt 4 ports support power input via the USB PD (Power Delivery) standard and video output through DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Wireless communication supports Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE802.11be: supporting the 6GHz band) and Bluetooth 5.4.
(Note 2) When using an external GPU of GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with DA16250, the Thunderbolt 4 port will be replaced with a Thunderbolt 5 (USB4 Version 2.0) port.
Battery capacity (rated value) is 70Wh for DA14250 and 99.5Wh for DA16250, and the maximum operating time is as follows (video viewing time using the Windows version of the "Netflix" app).
